We are offering a scanned copy of the 24-Page booklet entitled "Revere Clocks Service Manual" at no charge to our viewers.
If you look on Ebay, you'll find reproductions of this manual selling for $8 to $9 plus as much as $2.50 for shipping. There are two reasons why we feel this manual is overrated, and not worth the selling price. The first is because this manual can be purchased from Merritts.com for $6. That's where we got ours. Secondly, it's Rocket Science. As expert as we are in these movements, we find this manual to be totally confusing and difficult to understand. Much of the content could have been written in simpler form. This manual is clearly not written for the novice looking to gain more insight into the Revere Movement, and does take considerable study to fully understand. Now, we are not saying this booklet may not be for you. What we are saying is take the opportunity to review the booklet, and decide if any of the material applies to you. All of the pages are being presented to you in .Gif Format, and you can quickly copy/paste any of the pages into your photo editor for printing. (To do this, right-click over any of the pages, then click "Copy". Open whatever photo editor you have on your computer, then do an Edit-Paste.) Naturally, if you feel that the information shown can justify paying money for the book, then please do so. At least this way, you won't be disappointed upon receipt. |
